RapidBrowser is a web application that provides a simple web interface to access EMC/Smarts repositories from a web browser, without installing any software on the client such as Smarts GUI, java applets, etc.

RapidBrowser also generates searchable documentation for Smarts classes, enabling users to be able to see class properties, operations, and their descriptions. All the documentation data is fully searchable through google like searches.

Users can browse list of domains registered to a broker, classes defined in each domain, class instances and details of a specific instance including both simple properties and relations.

In addition, users can access the documentation of a specific class or search the documentation to find specific classes, properties, operations, etc.

The Following image shows how the user can drill down to a specific Host instance (e.g. erapsvpbwi) under one of the domain managers (e.g. INCHARGE-AM) to view its properties and related objects (such as thru ComposedOf) which are also links to the properties of the related objects.

As you navigate through the repository by clicking on links, the page hierarchy starting with Home will be accessible at the top. The URL construction will also match this hierarchy.
