Maps tab

Maps tab has 2 panes. On the left, the Saved Maps tree pane exists, and on the right, the topology map is displayed.

Maps tab has Configure and Update icons at the upper right corner on both panes. Configure icon will open up a configuration dialog which will allow you to set a polling interval to update the data in the pane. Update will refresh the data displayed in the tab. When polling interval is set to zero, auto refresh does not work. You can click on Update button to explicitly refresh the data. Otherwise, the refresh operation will automatically be done at each polling interval time specified.

Saving maps and groups

Saving a map is easy; simply click on the "Add Map" icon in Saved Maps tree pane in order to save a map. Click on "Add Group" icon in Saved Maps tree pane to create a new map group.

You can also select Map/Save Map from the menu in Map pane.

Map Operations
  1. Map
    1. Save Map: Saves the existing map
    2. Refresh Topology: Refreshes the topology data and changes the map if needed
  2. View
    1. Reset Map: Closes all the open nodes in the map and returns to the original map
    2. Reset Position: Takes the map to its original position
  3. Layout
    1. Hierarchical
    2. Circular
    3. Custom: Allows you to drag and place the nodes anywhere in the page
You can zoom in and out of the map using the icons on the right.
